Biography
Jack Burke was born and raised in the Detroit area and is a proud resident of Grand Rapids.
While attending Michigan State University, he received an Eli Broad Professorial Assistantship, as a freshman, & was responsible for editing Law Review articles. With classes in Business Law and Public Policy, he graduated from the MSU's Honors College and also graduated with Honors based on his academic performance.
Jack continued his legal education at Wayne State University Law School, where he was offered an Academic Merit Scholarship. He was selected to be an Associate Editor for the Journal of Law in Society, based on his legal research and writing skills. He also worked in Wayne State's Free Legal Aid Clinic, a student-run organization helping low-income clients with Family Law and Estate Planning matters.
Jack got involved with Real Estate from a young age. He learned a lot from his father in the brokerage side of the business. He's seen many sides of the industry from answering phones to conducting his own transactions, eventually training agents, and now representing clients in the courtroom.
